HOUSTON, TX—Cheerleaders flooded the George R. Brown Convention Center today for their chance at AAU Junior Olympic Games Gold. With an amazing display of skill and athleticism all around from the athletes, it made for a great day of cheer. Standing apart from the crowd was Dominique Pitre, a 17 year old from Missouri City, TX, competing in the solo cheer competition. She came out on top with a perfect score! Pitre is the first cheerleader to score a perfect score in over 20 years of AAU Junior Olympic Games Cheerleading.

Besides cheering, Pitre is also a track and field runner, cheer power winner, Cheer America winner, and a four-time NCA All American. Looks to be an extremely bright future in sports! A big congratulations goes out to Dominique Pitre!
